Sales Reports
Accessing Reports
- Click Reports in the sidebar (Manager and Admin only).
- The page defaults to the current calendar month.
Changing the Date Range
Use the From and To date pickers, or quick presets: Today, Last 7 Days, This Month. All report sections update automatically.
Report Sections
Sales Summary

| Total Revenue | Sum of all completed sales in the period |

| Avg Transaction | Average sale value |
| Items Sold | Total quantity of all items sold |
Top Products
Best-selling products ranked by revenue: Product Name, Quantity Sold, Revenue Generated. Shows the top 10 products in the selected period.
Cashier Breakdown
Performance per cashier: Name, Transactions, Total Revenue. Shows all cashiers who had at least one sale in the period.
Top Customers
Highest-spending customers in the period: Name, Transactions, Total Spend, Average Order Value, Last Visit. Shows the top 10 customers. Click any row to open that customer's full profile.
Sales Heatmap
The Reports page also has a Sales Heatmap card at the bottom of the page. Click it to open the heatmap on its own page, where you can see when customers shop by hour and day of the week. See Sales Heatmap for the full guide.
Tax Summary (when Tax Module is enabled)
Go to Reports → Tax Summary and select a date range.

The breakdown table shows each tax rate separately (e.g. Standard at 20.5% and Zero-rated at 0%) with the taxable base amount and tax collected per rate. Use this as a starting point when preparing your VAT/GST filing.
FAQ
Q: Are voided sales included in reports?
A: No. Only completed sales are counted. Voided sales are excluded from all figures.
Q: Can a Cashier access the Reports page?
A: No. Reports are restricted to Managers and Admins.
Q: Can I export the reports?
A: Yes. From the Reports page, you can start an export. The file is prepared in the background and saved to the Exports page when it is ready. See Exports for full details.
Q: Why don't I see any customers in the "Top Customers" section?
A: Only sales with an attached customer are counted. Walk-in/anonymous sales are excluded. Make sure cashiers are attaching customer records at checkout.
Q: Why do "Top Products" and "Top Customers" only show 10 items?
A: Both sections default to the top 10 to keep the view focused on your best performers.
Q: The numbers don't match what I expected.
A: Verify your date range is set correctly. Remember that voided sales are excluded and only completed transactions count.
